<div align=October 2013- A food shop and an adult shop. On the right is the rather ironically named Slaperssteeg running off Oudezijds Voorburgwal in Amsterdam's red light district. Up until the mid/late nineties Slaperssteeg had a small number of rooms for red light ladies. Each room had a mirror so they could see who was coming down the alleyway. They were usually of African origin, similar to those working to the North East of OudeKerk today.

A closer look at Slaperssteeg. The red arrow shows where the red light rooms used to be. This alley used to lead to a small courtyard area which also had red light windows. They closed in 2007 but for a while you could still walk round that area. It is shown in my no-sex video and lies near still open windows at Oudekerksplein 28.
