Amsterdam's Red Light District: Oudezijds Achterburgwal

Oudezijds Achterburgwal 41 and 43, Amsterdam. No.41 has five windows / kamers. Four are accessed in Molensteeg (the street at the far left of the photo). The other has a door on Oudezijds Achterburgwal. The door between 41-3 and 41-4 leads to an upstairs office where the girls go to pay their room rent or sort out a problem. You can see the "RAAM VERHUUR" sign which means "room for hire". The office covers several red light windows scattered around the area and who ever is working there can also keep an eye on the CCTV monitors to help ensure the girl's safety. No 43 to the right has four windows / kamers. Photo taken in May 2012.
